COURSE DESCRIPTION
Ensure the competence of your employees, and save time and money by taking training dedicated to service trucks and the transport of less than 500 kg of dangerous goods. Our TMD-116 training is the most efficient and economical method of training your employees. Why take general training when you could benefit from specific training for small carriers?
This training includes the following topics:
- TDGR legal requirements;
- The responsibilities of the carrier and the shipper;
- The 9 classes of dangerous goods and the associated risks;
- The simplified transport document;
- Marking and labeling of packages;
- Loading and stowage;
- Reports in the event of accidental releases;
- Provincial standards (tunnels, level crossings).
This training is not valid for explosives, radioactive substances, hazardous products in contact with water or flammable gas cylinders over 46 L in volume.
WHY OUR TDG TRAINING ?
The Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations have been in effect in Canada since 1985. These regulations assign specific responsibilities to carriers, handlers and shippers.
Anyone handling, transporting or preparing shipments of dangerous goods must therefore follow TDG training and obtain a training certificate renewable every three years or when changing employer.
The candidate who successfully completes the course receives a certificate recognized by the competent authorities (Transport Canada, Transports Québec, SAAQ and the DoT).
Our TMD training courses are targeted on a specific subject in order to allow you to learn the concepts essential to your work while avoiding wasted time or unnecessary information overload.
